Running

The first kilometer is always the toughest.  I always ask why.  It is just not fun.  Around 2.5km the shoe fits.  The long hill does not feel long and distance ahead drips out of me.  The 5th km is sweltering and consumes the fluids.

 

The finish can be seen on the inside of my eyelids.  This journey has an end but the road is not mapped, the distance not calculated.

 

Stretching and dripping it feels surreal.  The heat comes after the run as if the sun lassoed the earth and roped us in.  Can I take this to the next level.  Will I respond physically, mentally?

How do you know to smile when life is to busy to care. Simply do it and life will stop and say "What are you smiling at?"

Faith

Have you ever clashed with something internal?  Depths of which penetrated you in the recesses of a blinding cave.  Your thought exasperated, your mind black as a chalk board.  Life happening around you, even when you you starve it for fuel.  SO much SO little SO tired.

We spent this week-end at "The KW Spring Home and Garden Show" getting some great exposure for our company locally.  We did some great cross promoting with local businesses interviewing them and putting business profiles on Youtube allowing our business to be tied to their promotons.

 

Snow Angel

A rush of cotton like snow engulfs you.  Looking through it as if only a child could, gazing at your north star. Giggles and laughter cry out to the ears of the preposterous pile of snow.  Your arms wave erupting frozen fairies into obscurity.  Inhibitions melting and dripping, fervor abound. 

Standing in puddles with a stitch in a mended sole you realize that your star has been here all along. Smiles twinkle as you look back at an angel in the snow.

Departing

She cries, he leans in.

Worn camouflage does not protect her.  Pride does not comfort her. 

Time does not stall, though he tries.

Lips embrace.  He pulls back reluctantly.  Down he crouches.  A wounded kiss is departed within their stroller.  He wipes a steely tear and turns.

What was Wizard Academy like?
Having been there makes it tougher to explain.  From a franchisee stance, concepts are clear, strategies are rooted, and vision cemented.  I was honoured to go, allowing me to take steps in a journey in progress.  Carriculum was familiar in concept only layered like phylo.

 

What is the campus like?
Buildings are placed with the precision of a scalpel.  Details so minute only they can decipher.  Stucco, wood, glass, metal, slate, fire, water, cedar, stone.

 

Now what?
By 2009 this should be in your business plan if you are serious about success.  We will be returning.

Colour

It speaks to you like a lion, whispers like snow.  From its chest comes sight from its fingers come rays.  It consumes light as if famished, never a drop spills. How vibrant he pained without ever knowing.  Why, how, why?  Eyes or heart, where does colour lie?

Magical Worlds - Day 3

Today was to be far from home.  Travel is a strange event.  It whisks you away from love and comfort only to pause life that speeds up.  With stars and patterns a miss under hair, joys of enlightment darken with concept.  Lost for a time it hardens.  Breif though it was, chatting of confidence boosts the light.  Is this sensible or drabble, only I know.  Seeing inside the torch can burn the soul if you have no water to douce the spread.  I long for my water to solidify my journey. Oh to be home, wet with love.
